Welcome To Urban and Regional Planning
The Department of Urban and Regional Planning is one of the two departments that first admitted student in the 2019/2020 Academic session. It was established at the 294 th Senate meeting held on 27 th of September, 2018. It became fully operational since inception with both Academic and non-Academic staff working tirelessly to achieve its mission and that of the University. The first set of students were admitted in the 2019/2020 academic session during which 23 students in both 100 and 200 Levels were admitted. Steadily growing, the Department currently has 100, 200, 300 and 400 levels students. The number of academic staff has also increased from three (4) at inception (including part- time and visiting) to eight (8) including visiting lecturers.
Rebecca Mtaku Gali PhD
I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist and a Professor in Chemical Pathology. I am a lecturer and a researcher in Implementation Science University of Maiduguri. Producing accurate results that help in timely intervention and improve patient care, is my goal when I work on bench as a Laboratory Scientist. Discoveries during research, screenings and relating to those concern to find help or solution is the great fulfilment in life for me.
